Born the second of three children in Ft Worth, TX, Cait's family moved all over the United States and the UK for the majority of her childhood, eventually settling in Oklahoma. Due to the spontaneous nomadic nature of her father's military career, she and her brothers were home educated. Cait started in the performing arts at the age of six, with her first theater experience as the title role of Goldibraids & the Three Bears, a local adaptation to Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Being an autodidact by nature, Cait learned to hone her craft through taking on new and interesting roles within the theater and independent film circuit. She went to film school to broaden her horizons as an actor, and there discovered a talent for storytelling behind the camera as well. In 2015, Cait worked alongside Francis Ford Coppola during his first "proof of concept" for Live Cinema, called Distant Vision. On this project, she worked as both a documentarian (Live Cinema Workshop, 2017) and an actor, playing the role of Charlotte. Since her short mentorship under Coppola, she has been writing, directing and acting - the most recent of projects being an independent anthology film titled MONO, which will begin a festival run in 2018.
