After having studied law and management he worked as a Lawyer before he joined the Bavarian state ministry of justice (Bayrisches Staatsministerium für Justiz) where he became spokesperson ( in that position he had his only apperance in a movie) attorney of state and judge. Since 2011 he has a chair (für Zivilrecht) at the TU München.
