Arvin Mitchell dreamed of becoming a famous rapper, but after being disciplined by his mother in front of a full class of his peers, his butt hurt too bad to do anything but stand up. And while standing, he figured he should tell a few jokes. Thus began his career in comedy.Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Arvin is one of thirteen children. Yes, thirteen children. He learned early in life the value of a good laugh and has often said that comedy saved his life.
