Arthur Gorson is currently active in feature film, television and commercial production. His extensive experience in various aspects of the entertainment business provides him with a depth of knowledge to bring to his production activities. As a record producer, he produced over 20 albums for major labels. His photographic work with artists such as Bob Marley (included in the recent feature film "Marley") is widely known. Before moving to Los Angeles, he headed production companies, based in New York; working in the areas of film production, soundtrack and concert production.Upon relocating to Los Angeles he first assumed the position of feature producer for Dreamstreet, Inc., with offices at Universal and Paramount Studios. He has developed projects with directors such as Tony Scott, Monte Hellman, and Taylor Hackford.Gorson's feature film credits as Producer include: "Cronos", directed by Guillermo Del Toro and shot by Academy Award winner Guillermo Navarro; "Better Watch Out", directed by Monte Hellman with rights through HBO. He was Consulting Producer of the historical epic "Cabeza De Vaca", directed by Nicolas Echevarria, the film had its World Premier in competition at the Berlin Film Festival. He received an Executive Producer credit for his work on Timur Bekmambetov's record breaking Russian box office smash "Night Watch". Executive producer credit on Perry Henzell's recently completed film "No Place Like Home"; and a Producer credit on Monte Hellman's "Road to Nowhere" (for which Hellman received a Golden Lion for his body of work at the 2011 Venice Film Festival.) His film "Roots Of Reggae", produced with Wayne Jobson, had its U.S. premiere at the Palm Beach Film Festival. "A Filmmaker's Odyssey", produced and directed by Gorson and David Garonzik, had its US premiere at the 2016 Santa Barbara Film Festival. He has several current feature projects in development including: "Curse Of The Golden Idol" written by Michael Thomas ("The 33", "Devil's Double", "The Hunger","Ladyhawke", "Scandal", "Backbeat", "B Monkey", etc.).In short-form he has produced projects with directors such as: Zack Snyder, Dean Karr, Patricia Riggen, Timur Bekmambetov and Alejandro Toledo. Gorson's extensive commercial production credits include: AARP (2016), Turtle Beach Gaming (2016), Starbucks (2016), Busch Gardens (2016), California Lottery, LG Phones, Mazda Automobiles, Frito/Lay, Gillette, Bank Imperial, Seaworld, Cutty Sark, Gatorade, Woolrich, Super Bock Beer, Veet, The Palms Hotel, Coke Zero, Universal Hollywood, Universal Orlando, Mortal Kambat, Mars Bars, and Tommy Hilfiger.He has produced over 70 high-end music videos for artists such as: Korn (2016), Lisa Marie Presley, Evanescence, The Dave Matthews Band, Daughtry, Willie Nelson, Marilyn Manson, Stevie Nicks, Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Lee, Dr.Dre, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Duran Duran, Everlast, Damian Marley, Shooter Jennings, X Japan, Velvet Revolver, and Cypress Hill.His work has received domestic and international recognition.
