Anthony Aguilar

Anthony Roy Aguilar Gallagher grew up in Chicago, the son of Mexican mother, Rosina Elena and Irish-American father, William LeRoy. He is the middle brother of 3 boys William (a.k.a. Guillermo), Anthony and Jose Luis. He attended Abraham Lincoln Elementary, Lincoln Park High School and graduated from Lake Forest Academy. After high school he joined the United States Navy and was set to become either an officer or, because of his language aptitude, a cryptologic technician, 'code breaker'. He speaks Spanish, Japanese, Russian and Portuguese. After graduating from Miami of Ohio University, he lived and worked in Japan, Russia, Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Dominican Republic, the Philippines, Thailand and traversed Asia on the Trans-Mongolian railroad. He earned a Masters Degree from The George Washington University and worked in international affairs in Washington DC, making several visits to the White House and other world capitals with investor delegations. He lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn with his beautiful wife/architect Julia and their young "strong-like-bull" son Apollo. He has written two screenplays about his work as a medical interpreter in the hospitals and psych wards of New York CIty. Show less «
