A performer since age 11 in stage, television and film, Annie Boon is proud to be on the fast-track to success in Los Angeles. Annie has never stopped honing her craft, and when she is not on set, she is training with top professionals in the industry, studying a sound variety of techniques. She is proud to have been in an exclusive group of actors and directors participating in a 2-year Meisner Technique Intensive course.In December 2011, Annie starred in an episode of "Hostage: Do or Die" on Investigation Discovery Channel, playing the highly emotional character of Bernice Bowen in the true story of Tampa's most notorious hostage crisis to date. Airing in the fall of 2011, Annie took on a challenging co-star role in a hit HBO series, a big step in the right direction for an up-and-coming actress. She also landed a lead role in the science fiction pilot Life Alone for the series H.O.P.E. Among a string of commercials and other steady screen work, Annie starred in the feature film Life In Transit with VerticalBlu Film Company that screened to sold out Harkins Theaters across Phoenix. Annie was awarded a principal role in Relativity Media's Take Me Home Tonight, that opened to raving audiences across the country on March 4. She has also been featured in the upcoming films Middle Men starring Luke Wilson, and Everything Must Go, starring Will Ferrel. Independent film credits include Closetman, After Life, Defcon 3, The Nephila, Half A Person, Harold, Human Like You, Inner Voices, and several more. She was named runner-up in the "Breakout Action Star" category at the 2011 Action on Film International Festival for her role as Abigail in Contingency. She now has three feature films in post-production, along with a constant stream of short films. Her commercial, industrial and music video credits are also extensive. Growing up in the theater, Annie has had lead and supporting roles in more than a dozen productions over a 12-year period.In the Fall of 2010, Annie was awarded the "Best Actress" award for her lead role in the short film Vinyl, with Roughneck Pictures. In July 2010 Annie was awarded "Best Actress" for her role in Contingency. She was also awarded "Best Actress" in the film Five Minutes, as part of the IFP Phoenix/Phoenix Film Foundation's Beat the Clock Film Challenge. Her vast acting range enables her to play characters from the girl next door to distraught victim to a warm romantic lead or the hilarious best friend. Annie is represented by Spotlight Management.
