Anita Maria Taylor

A Detroit native, Anita Maria Taylor's love affair with performing began in the fourth grade, when her teacher would send her from classroom to classroom to read the short stories and plays she had written. Her passion for the arts deepened at Yale University, where she was singled out for "outstanding artistic achievement" by the African-American student body.
