After spending her formative years motorcycling through the Western US and expanding her extensive collection of name tags and hairnets, Angella Davis found her passion in making movies.Ever the reader, it was natural that Angella's first screenplay was RiM, a sci fi action flick adapted from the Philip K. Dick Award nominated cult novel of the same name by Alexander Besher. She then co-wrote and will direct the feature film Unknown Legend, a coming of age biopic about a young woman's travels through rural Oregon and beyond. Both features are in development.Inspired by her background in social activism and rabble rousing, her screenwriting debut was the riveting Shouting Mountain, a short film with a powerful anti-fracking message at it's heart. It was while volunteering her time writing scripts for an acting studio in Portland Oregon that Angella met Erich Demerath and Chad Coenson. At their invitation, she joined forces with Man vs Film and the team went on to win the 2013 Audience Choice Award for the dark comedy So You Think You Can Kill in Portland's 48hr Film Fest.
