Andy Malone has accomplished a lot in a short time. Born Sept 20th 1984 and originally from Newfoundland Canada, Andy has been on television, in independent films, documentaries, has coached students aged 4 to 50+ and has performed in countless live Theatre events.During his years living in Newfoundland, Andy discovered acting as an early teen in junior high and hasn't stopped since. Winning awards for best actor in his High School and gaining constant local recognition in his performances both in and outside of school, Andy decided to pursue acting as a career and completed a four year fine arts university degree in the performing arts from Memorial University of Newfoundland.During his final year studying the performing arts, Andy began work on a theatre company with his University colleague and named the company Act One Inc. becoming the co-owner, co-artistic director, and president of the company. For his two year run as president, Andy had produced, written, directed, and performed in various stage plays and has taught theatre to various young students as part of a summer program. That same summer, Andy had closely work shopped with children that had learning disabilities to have the opportunity to express themselves through art. After two years had passed, Andy decided to pursue his career even more and moved to Calgary, Alberta at the age of 23 to become an acting coach for film and television. Here he had taught various forms of film/T.V acting as well as improvisation, scene study and character development courses. During this time, Andy also became an acting coach for the international event IPOP (International Presentation Of Performers) as well as being contracted by an American based talent Agency, named Nova Talent, to represent Canada as an acting coach for the W.C.O.P.A ( World Championship of Performing Arts). That same summer, Andy had closely worked with many industry professionals such as coaching with A.J Trauth from the hit Disney show Even Stevens and had his students audition for reputable L.A casting director Joe Lorenzo. After a year of many successes, Andy began to feel the need to begin performing again as he realized that he had many goals to accomplish as an artist. Upon this decision, Andy moved from Calgary to reside just outside of Toronto and had begun acting again in pursuit of the film and television industry as a performer and has already landed many great roles in feature independent films and television shows as well as a television pilot. Andy hopes to take the industry by storm as he begins to establish a quality reputation and continues to show professionalism and dedication toward his craft. Show less «
