Andrea is an actress, known for Trudeau 11 (2005), Haunted by the Void (2020), The Sinner (2021), Diggstown (2021), Turnbuckels TV series (2022) and Sullivan's Crossing TV series (2022). Andrea joined workshops in Acting and Modeling in 1990. Had her first audition at age 18 for an all girl's music band playing a keyboard.Early 20's, she joined Halifax Dance for a number of years. In her 30's she performed in Jazz, Lindy Hop and Hip Hop in Jazz Bliss Festivals. At that time, she was also a dancer at Shake It Dance Studio performing at various locations such as the Fringe Festival and at the Halifax Waterfront in Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha, Cumbia, Bachata, and Rheuda. She was working hard rehearsing at two different schools for her recitals before going to her regular job. She also tried Tango, Jive, Flamenco and Pole dancing, briefly.She practiced ballroom dancing with a dance partner for a competition years later, but then decided she didn't want to compete and backed out, stating, "competition for me takes the fun out of dancing".She was on Breakfast Television in 2004 with Shake It Dance Studio's dance troupe.Studied Medical Terminology.Choreographed a dance piece for a University Student for her class project.Age 39 during College, she had a second audition for a commercial.In 2011 to 2014, Andrea participated in Bust a Move for Breast Health. She helped raise funding for the IWK Health Centre to help purchase technology advancements and equipment. Bust a Move was a 6-hour workout broken down into 6 fitness sessions including Yoga and Zumba at the Canada Games Centre.From age 50 onward, she took other workshops in on-camera acting and voice-over acting as well as an acting class at Neptune Theatre. Then started applying for non-union jobs. Signed up with acting agencies. She started doing short films and Background Performing jobs in Television shows, which gained some acting experience with speaking and non-speaking roles, including some improvising experience.She kept up with physical activity by taking Zumba and SH'Bam classes along with trying out Kickboxing.Andrea's ancestry includes English, Metis (Mi'kmaq), French, German and Dutch.
