Ana de Lara

Ana de Lara is an award-winning Filipina-Canadian director, screenwriter, and producer. Her films have been selected and screened at Canadian and international festivals including the Montreal World Film Festival and the Rhode Island International Film Festival. She recently won the 2016 Creative BC MPPIA Award for her short comedic script "Good Girls Don't"; the 2016 Telefilm New Voices Award for her comedic feature script "The Virgin Mary Had a Little Lamb"; and the 2016 Vancouver Women In Film + TV "From Our Dark Side" competition for her supernatural horror screenplay concept, "The Chosen One."
