Amy Pawlukiewicz is an American actor, singer, and model originally from Ohio. She is the daughter of Charles, an attorney, and Denise, a toddler class directress. Amy grew up in a close, loving, big Italian and Polish family and is the eldest of two children. Her well-rounded upbringing included family travels around the country, a summer home-stay in France, playing volleyball, basketball, tennis and martial arts, and a lifelong love of animals fostered by the pets she grew up with. From an early age, Amy knew she wanted to work in the entertainment business. At the tender age of 9, Amy was given the role of "Thankful" in a production of her fourth grade class' production of "Thankful's Red Beads" (after having her name drawn out of a hat). Despite the embarrassment of getting the aforementioned beads caught in her then waist-length hair during the all-school showing of the production, Amy had been bitten by the acting bug. She went on to take classes at a local theatre and began training in monologues, improv, audition technique, dance, and much more. As a young girl, she and her neighborhood friends often created their own "theatrical productions" that they would perform for parents.Beginning at age 15, Amy signed a modeling contract with a Cleveland, Ohio agency and worked professionally while participating (and sometimes starring in) her high school theatrical productions. She also cultivated her love of the arts in general by taking violin lessons from age 9, voice lessons from age 14, and becoming president of the drama club in her senior year of high school.Amy attended Kenyon College, studying English literature and dance, graduating with a bachelor's degree. While in college, Amy participated in nearly every semesterly dance concert. After college she returned home to Cleveland, signed with a talent agency and began working professionally in the theatre scene. She shot several commercials, full length feature films, and appeared in many plays. Eventually, she knew it was time to move to Los Angeles to further her dream.Once in Los Angeles, Amy earned roles quickly, appearing in Investigation Discovery's "Unusual Suspects", "The Whitney Houston Story," "Revenge," as well as becoming a regular on the Melinda Hughes Comedy Channel on YouTube. Creative on the other side of the camera, Amy has written, directed and produced short films and comedy shorts. In her free time, Amy enjoys reading, writing, running, web design, enjoying the company of friends, traveling and volunteering at a local pet shelter. Show less «
