Born and raised in London, Ontario, Amanda grew up modeling, acting, & singing. She spent her formative years in Ohio getting acquainted with Midwestern America - graduating with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Otterbein University. During her senior year at Otterbein, she was selected to complete a 10-week internship with the prestigious Telsey + Company casting office in NYC - where she was later hired as an audition reader for Broadway & various on-camera auditions.Post graduation, Amanda traveled the United States & Canada with multiple national touring productions, performed at some of America's top regional theatres, and starred Off-Broadway. Her first taste of film was a mostly improvised scene opposite the late, great Willie Garson (Sex and the City) in "Before I Go". From there, Amanda was drawn more and more to life beyond just the stage, and began expanding her career into more voiceover, commercials, and film & TV.After her upcoming performing contracts in NYC were canceled due to Covid, Amanda made the life-changing move to Vancouver, BC. She now lives and works in beautiful British Columbia, where she's had amazing opportunities including a role in the hilarious parody of our favorite Hallmark films, "A Clüsterfünke Christmas" (written/starring Rachel Dratch & Ana Gasteyer), a fun recurring role in an upcoming Netflix series with Airbud Entertainment (Fall 2022), and lead roles in multiple animated series. Some career highlights include placing in the Top 60 of Canadian Idol, playing opposite one of her comedy heroes, Colin Mochrie, in "Life, Such As It Is" at The Snapple Theater in NYC, and originating all 5 female roles in the world premiere of "I Hate Musicals", created by "The Simpsons" writer Mike Reiss.
