Allison Nichole Torres is an American-born, bilingual actress of Colombian and European heritage. Allison was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on July 10, 1992 to her mother, Michelle Lynn Hartman and her father, Hugo Robert Torres. Her father worked in the World Trade Center in New York City, New York for many years but after the 1993 World Trade Center attack, her family moved to Miami, Florida where Allison grew up with her older brother Brandon Camilo Torres. Allison began showing a passion for acting at the age of 4 which led her to perform in many plays and study theatre.Allison has studied Konstantin Stanislavski Technique, Meisner Technique, Greek Theatre, Kabuki Theatre, Sanskrit Theatre, Commedia dell'Arte, Theatre of the Absurd and Musical Theatre since the age of 8. She also discovered a hidden talent in drawing and painting which led her to designing sets throughout high school. In 2006, Allison was accepted into a mega magnet school called Coral Reef Senior High located in Miami, Florida for the theatre department; shortly after her audition. From 2006-2010 Allison was an an honorary Thespian in the International Thespian Society.
