Alfonso Perugini was born in Atripalda, Italy, and grew up in Pontinia. He earned a BFA in Cinema Studies at University of Rome Tor Vergata and a Master Degree in Information and Publishing Systems at the same University. During his studies in Rome he also became journalist. Perugini is dedicated to filmmaking from an early age, first with documentaries and experimental films, and then with shorts and features. His films are both comedic and dramatic. He participated with his films at various Italian film festivals and international ones too.
