In 2016, she made her feature film debut co-starring as Georgia in Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life (2016), for CBS Films/Lionsgate. Based off the critically-acclaimed book by James Patterson, the film follows a quiet middle school student who has a wild imagination and is sick of school rules. Alexa shines as his spunky and mischievous younger sister. "Middle School" premiered nationwide on October 7.In addition, Alexa can be seen co-starring opposite Charlie Day, Christina Hendricks, Tracy Morgan, JoAnna Garcia and Ice Cube as Ally Campbell in New Line Cinema's comedy Fist Fight (2017), which received nationwide release on February 17, 2017. The film tells the story about an after school fist fight that ensues when one teacher [Ice Cube] speculates that another teacher [Day] is trying to get him fired, challenging him to an after-school fight. Alexa plays Ally, Charlie Day's adorable and sweet daughter who often looks up to her father for advice. Although she is going through some struggles with bullies at school, she learns to face her fears and come out of her shell, with a little help from her dad.Born in Boca Raton, Florida, Alexa moved to Atlanta, Georgia when she was six years old. At a young age she decided that being an actress was truly what she was meant to be and began her acting journey in the city of Atlanta, taking group classes and private coaching.
