Akin Akinözü

Akin Akinözü is a Turkish actor who burst onto the world stage with his role as Miran in the hit Turkish TV series Hercai. He completed his studies in Los Angeles General Studies, UC Berkeley Applied Math and studied acting. In 2014, he started his career with Azrail feature film. In 2015, he appeared on television screens for the first time with the Spectacular Century series and then starred in Friends is Better. Akinözü is fluent in English, a pescatarian, and an avid sportsman with a particular fondness for boxing. He's been in a long-term relationship with Sandra Pestemalciyan and has a dog named Archie. Akinözü's fiery performance has earned him three notable awards: "Best Actor in a Dramatic Series" (24th Golden Lens Awards of the Magazine Journalists Association 2019), and "Best Series TV Couple," which he shares with Hercai co-star Ebru Sahin (Ayakli Gazete Ödülleri journalists 2020).
